Packaging is one of the most critical stages of industrial transportation. Poor packaging can cause damage to millions of dollars worth of equipment. Therefore, UNSA ENGINEERING views packaging as an engineering solution, not a logistics process.

Analysis and Design Process

Before packaging, each piece of equipment to be transported is analyzed by UNSA engineers:

  • The weight, dimensions and center of gravity of the equipment are determined.

  • The material type (metal, composite, electronic, etc.) is examined.

  • Transportation method (land, sea, air) and duration are taken into account.

After these analyses , special crates, steel frames, shock absorbing supports and moisture protection systems are designed.

International Standards

UNSA ENGINEERING applies ISPM 15 and EN 12195 standards in all its packaging solutions. Wooden cases, moisture barrier coatings and shrink packaging are fully compliant with customs and transportation standards worldwide.

Field Application

Packaging operations are carried out on site immediately before transport. The equipment is protected on-site and transport sensors (impact, tilt, humidity indicators) are installed.

Conclusion

Professional packaging protects not only the equipment but also the integrity of the investment. The UNSA ENGINEERING difference is that there is engineering intelligence inside every crate.
